A major grocery store in downtown Prince George will be relocating.
Pine Centre Mall spokesperson Jessica Brown confirmed to PrinceGeorgeMatters the Parkwood Place Save-On-Foods location will be moving its operations to occupy the space formerly used by Lowe's.
Brown says the space itself and surrounding area will need to be redeveloped to suit the grocery store's needs which will include renovations, more parking spaces and some changes to the existing building.
The work is expected to begin in the middle of 2021 and completed in 2022.
PrinceGeorgeMatters has also reached out to Save-On-Foods for comment.
