A pedestrian along Chief Lake Road near Pilot Mountain Road was struck and killed on Tuesday at about 5 p.m., Prince George RCMP said Wednesday.
When emergency services personnel arrived at the scene, it was confirmed the pedestrian was deceased. The vehicle did not remain on scene.
During the investigation, police learned that a white SUV may have been involved. The suspect vehicle would have front end damage and police are looking for any information related to the white SUV or the driver involved.
Police are looking for footage from security cameras and dash cams along Chief Lake Road near Pilot Mountain Road around the time of the collision.
