After being the first to boost the price of regular by 12-cents a litre, Petro-Canada stations in Prince George now appear to be offering the best deal.
As of Monday morning, regular was going for $1.42.6 per litre at their stations, below even Costco at $1.48.9.
Others meanwhile, had followed Petro-Canada's lead over the last few days and pushed their price up to $1.54.9.
Difficultes dealing with the cold weather for refineries to the south are behind the jump, market analysts say.
The deep freeze at the Tidewater facility in Prince George created some challenges but posed no material affect on the operation, a company spokesperson has said.
