PG Deaf Children's Society hosting Adventure Camp

The PG Deaf Children's Society is hosting a three-day overnight Adventure Camp for deaf and hard of hearing children and their families from Sept. 10 to 12 at Ness Lake Bible Camp.

The PG Deaf Children's Society is hosting a three-day overnight Adventure Camp for deaf and hard of hearing children and their families from Sept. 10 to 12 at Ness Lake Bible Camp.

The Adventure Camp will include activities such as wall climbing, archery, crafts, a scavenger hunt, sign language games, team-building activities, and a campfire complete with ASL stories. There will also be educational components, including sign language skills and a speaker presentation for parents.

Increased communication skills, self-confidence, and feelings of acceptance are some of the many outcomes of Adventure Camp.

Sponsors are welcome to donate craft supplies, snacks, or games to help make the Adventure Camp a success.
