The fences came down today (July 26) at Wood Innovation Square.
The new green space is located between UNBC’s Wood Innovation and Design Centre (499 George St.) and the Wood Innovation Research Lab, at 1143 Fourth Ave.
The park was designed to include an outdoor entertainment and vendor space along with a lawn, tree plantings and lighting for year-round use.
The park itself is located on Fifth Avenue but can also be easily accessed from the ally way that connects the two buildings.
