Outdoor enthusiasts who carry cameras have a chance to see one of their photos grace the pages of this year's Explore the North magazine.
The Citizen is looking for images taken within the boundaries of Fort St. James to the north, Quesnel to the south, Valemount to the east and Smithers to the west.
Entries can be submitted via email, [email protected] (please include "Explore the North" in the subject line) or dropped off at The Citizen's office, #201-1777 Third Ave.
They must be in .jpg format at 300 dpi and include a description of no more than 60 words of where it was taken and why you would recommend it to others, as well as your name for photo credit and authorization for us to publish it.
Only a select few photos will be published but those who enter will also get a chance to win a prize package of two folding directors chairs, two sleeping bags and a three-piece cooler set from Surplus Herby's.
The deadline is Monday, May 1.
