The first is expected between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., lasting approximately 30 to 60 minutes. This brief outage is part of necessary equipment upgrades being carried out by the local utility provider. BC Hydro was not specific about the addresses.

In addition, a second power interruption will take place on Friday, April 25 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., impacting residents of 2485, 2505, 2545 and 2585 Ewert Cres. This outage is also related to ongoing maintenance work and will last for several hours.
