A clerk at a gas station in the 8000 block of the Hart Highway was robbed at gunpoint just before 7 am last Friday.
Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects while one suspect remains in custody.
Two suspects entered the gas station on Feb. 2 and threatened the on-duty attendant at gunpoint, smashing a gun case and stealing several of the firearms stored within.
The suspects were seen leaving the store and getting into a waiting blue pickup truck, where the third suspect was waiting. Police identified the truck as one that was stolen earlier that morning from a nearby residence.
The truck was located a short time later unoccupied and was seized as part of the investigation.
While conducting patrols for the suspects, police officers located a man matching the description of one of the suspects sitting at a bus stop in the area.
The man was arrested and found to be in possession of a shotgun.
Police officers identified him as 41-year-old Brandon Michael Felix, who is currently bound by two different lifetime firearms prohibitions, Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP, said.
There are two suspects still outstanding in this investigation.
Police describe one man as wearing a light-coloured grey jacket with no hood, a black balaclava hiding his nose and mouth, black gloves, dark pants and a dark shirt with red and white print on the front.
The third suspect was not seen on video surveillance.
