Nearly 300 local seniors came together for food, entertainment and camaraderie for Wednesday's Golden Age Social at the Civic Centre.
The free event, the third of five held from October to March, is put on by the Prince George Council of Seniors (PGOS) in conjunction with the City of Prince George and the Civic Centre..
ScotiaBank, Integris and Hub International provided sponsorship for the food, entertainment, table centre pieces and bags to take home. The city and the Civic Centre provide the space and staff for free.
Entertainment was provided by the White Spruce City Chorus and Alexis Maikapar, who goes by Alexis the Troubadour, singing a selection of Christmas tunes and popular old time rock and roll.
