While these may be trying times, at least the price of gas isn’t going to be breaking the bank.
While gas prices have dropped a great deal in B.C., Prince George currently has the cheapest gas in the entire province.
As of today (March 15) Tano Fuel, located at 1040 Whenun Rd. in Shelley, is offering gas for 87.9 cents per litre. That’s even lower than last week when Tano Fuel was offering gas at 99.9 cents per litre.
Not far behind is the Prince George Costco (2555 Range Rd.), which is offering gas at 89.9 cents per litre.
Last week Costco was offering 102.9 cents per litre but the price has now dropped even further.
These are currently the lowest prices in the province followed by the Costco in Kamloops at 94.9 cents per liter.

On Tuesday (March 10), Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, formerly of GasBuddy.com, predicted that gas prices would drop a whopping eight to 10 cents in a single day on Wednesday (March 11).
