Prince George Fire Rescue extinguishes Third Avenue house fire

There were no injuries to residents or fire crews

In the early hours of the morning, Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a report of a fire at the 300-block Third Avenue.

On arrival, at about 5:15 a.m., crews found a single-story residential structure, with smoke and flames showing. Prince George Fire Rescue was able to quickly extinguished the fire.

Nineteen firefighters from four halls attended the fire. Damage to the residence was approximately $45,000 and the cause is undetermined at this time.

There were no injuries to either residents or fire personnel.
