The Prince George Hospice Dream Home Lottery is on the home stretch for ticket sales as the draw date is fast approaching on Dec. 1.

Deadline to purchase one of the 2,300 remaining tickets is Nov. 30 at midnight.

For the first time in its history, the dream home is located in University Heights subdivision at 3445 Munro Way.

The custom-built home by Toor Enterprises has an appraised value of $800,000.

The dream home features five bedrooms, four baths, and a basement with a separate entrance. Part of the prize package includes 5 appliances - washer, dryer, fridge, stove and dishwasher - from City Furniture, valued at $8,100, and the dream home also comes furnished by Ashley’s Furniture valued at $16,400, offering a grand prize valued at $824,500.

There is still one early bird prize left to draw on Nov. 23, which is an 18K white and rose gold diamond ring worth $8,050.

“This is a really neat prize because we haven’t had jewelry like that before and it’s so beautiful, it’s a big ring,” Sandra Klimm, special events coordinator for Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society, said.

Klimm said this is the biggest annual fundraiser for hospice and supports the excellent care and programs offered to the Prince George community.

“It’s important for people to know that every dollar raised stays local,” Klimm said. “Prince George Hospice has grown so much over the years and will continue to grow to meet the community’s needs.”
