Judo athletes from Prince George are making the city proud on the national stage.
Tami Goto, member of the Prince George Judo Club, took home a silver medal during the U18, 48 kg competition on Friday (June 28) and would follow up with a bronze medal finish today (June 29) in the U21 division of the same weight class.
Koen Heitman from Hart Judo also medaled on day one (June 28), taking home bronze in the U18, 73 kg division.
During day two, Heitman would earn a seventh-place finish with one win and two losses, also in the U18, 73 kg division.
On day one, Team B.C. would end up taking home 10 medals.
