Prince George New Year's Day flight flagged by BCCDC for COVID-19 exposure

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) has flagged the first Prince George flight of 2021 with COVID-19 exposure. 

WestJet flight 3282 on Jan. 1 with service from YXS to Vancouver has been listed for COVID-19 exposure with rows three to nine affected. 

Flights continue to be listed at a rapid pace from the holiday period seeing more movement.

Since March 27, 2020, passengers seated near a case of COVID-19 that was recognized after arrival are no longer being directly notified of their potential exposure, but are asked to check online and monitor their symptoms.

As of publication, Northern Health has recorded a total of 2,606 cases with 43 deaths since the pandemic struck the region last year.
