Prince George RCMP have arrested a suspect in a graffiti incident that occurred on March 2, 2024 at about 2 a.m.
Frontline police officers were on patrol in the downtown area when they observed fresh graffiti on a building on the 1500-block of Third Avenue.
“After speaking with an on-duty security guard, police developed a description of the suspect and were able to locate him a short distance away from the location,” Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP, said.
“The suspect was arrested and subsequently released on an Undertaking with a future court date. The suspect is not well-known to police.”
The messaging centered around the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The owner of the building was contacted and made aware of the graffiti.
The investigation remains ongoing.
