Interested in a career with the RCMP?
The national police service's recruiting team will be in Prince George Friday, Sept. 13 for a one-hour career information session at the Victoria Street detachment. It begins at 6:30 p.m.
The session will offer first-hand details about life as an RCMP officer, from the recruiting process to the application stage and beyond.
Joining the RCMP has proved to be a very rewarding experience for my personal and professional growth," states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, the Prince George detachment's media relations officer. "I have always looked forward to becoming a police officer and I am glad I was able to join this organization because the opportunities are truly endless. I believe that policing is a challenging journey and will require your best, but it’s also extremely fulfilling and is a dream come true.
