Prince George RCMP has confirmed the identity of the victim of a fatal stabbing on Queensway as 28-year-old Devon Lindstrom.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim at this time,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The stabbing occurred on June 11 shortly after 5 a.m. when the Prince George RCMP received a call for service at a commercial dwelling unit on Queensway.
Police received information that a man had been stabbed.
Upon police and ambulance arrival at the location, a man was found suffering from life-threatening injuries and he was transported by B.C. Ambulance Service to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said they believed this was a targeted event and the investigation is ongoing.
