A woman suffered severe injuries to her head and face in a violent assault last month, and police are sharing photos of two suspects in an effort to find them.
RCMP say the woman and another person were walking in the area of Sixth Avenue and Dominion Street at about 2 a.m. Nov. 5 when they were approached by two other women. An argument started, and the woman was allegedly assaulted.
"Police officers reviewed video surveillance from the surrounding area and have obtained still images and video of the two suspects," states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, the Prince George RCMP's media relations officer. "We are requesting that anyone who can help to identify the suspects please call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with an investigator."
The first suspect is described as between 40-50, about 5’3 (160 centimetres) tall, heavier set and wearing all black at the time of the incident.
The second suspect is younger, approximately 5’3 (160 cm) tall, slender and wearing a long black coat with blue pants.
