Prince George RCMP on lookout for clothing/jewelry thief

Woman suspected of stealing more than $10,000 worth of goods in Tuesday robbery

Police are looking for this woman, suspected in the theft of clothing and jewelry taken Tuesday from a downtown store.

Prince George RCMP are asking the public for help finding a woman suspected of stealing dresses and jewelry from a downtown store.

The theft occurred on Tuesday at a store in the 1300 block of Third Avenue and the suspect made off with a variety of goods worth more than $10,000.

Prince George RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper is asking people to watch for online marketplace listings of new clothing and jewelry for sale.

Police have an image taken by video surveillance of the suspect at the time of the robbery. She is described as with shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing a dark hoodie or black coat, cropped black pants, a brown shirt and black winter boots.
