The annual Civic Light Up returns to Canada Games Place next week.
The City of Prince George is inviting the public to attend the Civic Light Up event at Canada Games Plaza on Nov. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The celebration will feature a range of family activities plus a few returning favourites from previous years.
Happening alongside the event is the Festival of Trees inside the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Festival of Trees.
The event’s centrepiece, the plaza light up, will take place at 7:40 p.m. in Canada Games Plaza. The evening will also feature live entertainment, food trucks, free giveaways, and activities including:
- Live music
- Street hockey
- Face painting
- Pop Up Playday at Prince George Public Library
- Visits from Santa, Mr. PG, and more special guest mascots
Complimentary hot cocoa and holiday treats will be served and a fireworks show will follow at 7:45 p.m.
