A Prince George parolee wanted on a nation-wide warrant has been found.
Steven James Fontaine, considered to be violent by Mounties, was arrested roughly a month-and-a-half after missing curfew at his designated home.
According to police, the 37-year-old breached the conditions of his release on Sept. 2, and turned to the public on Oct. 7 to help find him.
He was still believed to be in Prince George since his warrant was issued.
“The Prince George RCMP would like to thank the members of the public that assisted with this investigation,” says Cpl. Craig Douglass in a news release this afternoon (Oct. 14).
