If you use some Prince George civic facilities and parks, you'll want to make sure you're aware of the upcoming closures.

Starting tomorrow (Oct. 31) crews will begin the process of seasonal closures at some parks as well as outdoor civic facilities.

The gates and entrances to Nechako Riverside Parks and Connaught Hill Park will be closed to vehicle traffic.

Crews are currently in the process of closing the outdoor public washrooms at Duchess and Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park for the season.

Masich Place Stadium, on the other hand, will continue to be staffed and in use for a couple of more weeks with the final sporting event scheduled for Nov. 14.

The track will remain open for public use through Nov. 15 and then closed the next day (Nov. 16).

The city says park and public washrooms will re-open in the spring on a weather-dependent basis.
