Is fall just about over, already?
Despite Environment Canada's rainy forecast for today (Oct. 10) , it looks like snowflakes are falling in parts of the city as the temperature hovers around 0 C. YRB Fort George is reporting snow falling on Highway 16 between Prince George and Vanderhoof and is reminding drivers to drive with caution as we shift into winter.
There's no snow in the forecast tomorrow with a high of 8 C predicted, so the snowflakes shouldn't last too long.
Do you have travel plans this weekend? If so, expect the unexpected as conditions change quickly this time of year. We are currently seeing periods of snow on #bchwy16 between #CityofPG & #Vanderhoof with temps around 0*C. Please slow down & #drivetotheconditions #ShiftIntoWinter pic.twitter.com/9qG5wnXVxM
