The Spruce Kings finished their six-game road-trip the way it started… in the win column.
Prince George ended their four-game losing streak in West Kelowna last night (Feb. 1) with a 4-1 victory over the Warriors, thanks to prime offensive chances.
Corey Cunningham increased his scoring streak to four games by netting the opening goal five minutes into the contest on a power-play.
The 18-year-old now has 22 goals to his name this year, which remains the team-high for the 2019-20 season, with assists on his latest from Evan Orr and Haydn Delorme.

After two periods, the Spruce Kings held the 2-1 lead and after West Kelowna pulled their goaltender in the final minutes of regulation in hopes of sending Saturday into overtime.
Kolton Cousins found an empty net to seal the 3-1 win, his first since recording a hat-trick on Nov. 2 and his first point since Dec. 5.

Prince George finished 2-4 while on their Mainland and Interior Division swings, upping their season record now to 17-28-2-3.
With eight games left on the year, five of them are home games.
The Spruce Kings have two games this week at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena on Wednesday (Feb. 5) against Wenatchee and Friday (Feb. 7) against Merritt.
