Another local Prince George company is stepping up to help the Prince George Humane Society.
The Wandering Panda Tattoo Studio has announced a flash day this Sunday (Sept. 1) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or later, depending on the volume of clients).
The Prince George Humane Society announced on Monday (Aug. 26) they are in dire need of funding or else they will have to shut the doors to the society within the next two months.
The society says it costs roughly $300,000 a year to run the Prince George Humane Society, and that can vary depending on the number of animals the shelter takes in and what medical needs those animals have.
The current goal is $30,000, which will allow it to keep its doors open beyond the two-month mark.
There are two designs to choose from: a cat or dog, both sitting in a box with 'LOVE' on the front.
Pieces are by donation, with a minimum of $40 per tattoo.
There are also two donation tins from the Humane Society should you wish to donate more towards the cause or donate without getting a tattoo.
All funds will be donated to the society except the cost of the shop's gear.
