A 41-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court on Friday (Oct. 9) after being charged in a break-and-enter incident this week.
Prince George RCMP say four charges have been approved against Bradley Robert Foster, who was taken into custody after breaking into a Gateway-area shed, carried away $2,000 worth of outdoor sporting equipment and later found with a small amount of meth on his person.
After 8 a.m. on Monday morning (Oct. 5), Mounties were told of a reported break-and-enter on MacDonald Avenue and obtained surveillance images showed a suspect enter a fenced yard through a gate, break into a locked shed and stole several items, including a bicycle, helmet, chainsaw, tackle box, fishing rods, power tools and hiking boots.
The incident occurred at roughly four hours before police were informed.
Foster was tracked down and arrested near the intersection of 17 Avenue and Queensway around 9:30 a.m., where he was also found carrying a knife and meth.
The stolen bike and helmet were recovered.
The following charges have been approved by the BC Prosecution Service:
- Break-and-enter
- Possession of stolen property
- Fail to comply with probation
- Possession of a controlled substance
