Prince George woman missing

Melinda Louise Ewen was last seen on Nov. 17

Prince George RCMP are asking the public’s help to locate Melinda Louise Ewen.
Ewen, who usually goes by Louise, was last seen leaving her home in Prince George at 2:15 p.m. on Nov. 17. Ewen didn’t take her cellphone with her, and it out of character for her to not contact her family for this long, RCMP said.
“Police and family are concerned for Ms. Ewen’s health and well being,” RCMP spokesperson Cpt. Jennifer Cooper said. “Investigators believe there is a possibility that she may have tried traveling to the Lower Mainland where she has some extended family.”
Ewen is described as a Caucasian woman, five-foot-three, 120 pounds, with blue eyes and grey hair. She was last seen wearing a turquoise turtleneck sweater, black pants, brown winter boots and a red winter jacket.
She was driving a red 2015 Ford Escape with B.C. license plate number BK7 60F.
Anyone with information about Ewen or her whereabouts is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300, or call their local police detachment.
