Rinks can be found in 16 city parks, including Exhibition Park, which is home to the Outdoor Ice Oval. Rinks have also been created at a half-dozen schools in Prince George.
The city has published a full list of all the community ice rinks in town as well as a map to help skaters find them!
All of the community rinks are free, except the Prince George Outdoor Ice Oval, which costs $2 or $5 per family. These rinks are all volunteer-operated and maintained.
If it has snowed recently, bring a shovel to clear the rink before your skate and remember to bring a helmet as it’s skate-at-your-own-risk.
