After possibly having to close down their stand, the Ice Cream Express has announced their new home.

You'll now be able to find them in The Strike Zone Bowling Centre.

Another cool outcome? They will now be open all year and will be selling milkshakes.

Roughly two weeks ago, Ice Cream Express announced they may be closing because of their neighbours, Rona, needing the land they were on.

"We are beyond devastated," a Facebook post read."There are not enough words right now as the stand is our livelihood unless we can find another place to park."

A GoFundMe was launched shortly after by a family friend, Colton Fawcett, to help save the iconic ice cream stand.

“I know a lot of people say it’s just ice cream, who cares, but I really feel like little places like this are what make Prince George, Prince George,” Fawcett said.

On the evening of April 12, owners Ken and Leona Bergman announced on Facebook that they had found a new home, but would be naming the new location in the next few weeks.

"Ken and I from the bottom of our hearts are so very grateful to each and every one of you who have helped us through this last week," Leona Bergman said in the post. "It has really made us feel so loved by our great community and we hope to return the favour. We want to give a special thank you to Colton and Russell and all those who donated to the fund. We were beyond touched that these boys did this for us. But we are going to be ok."

In another Facebook post this afternoon (April 23), the Bergmans announced the new location.

"Through this crisis, Prince George and surrounding community have made this time much easier with all your beautiful messages," the post reads. "We also now will be selling milkshakes of every flavour. We want to give a special shout out to Peter and Hans for offering us our new home."

Don't worry, the picnic tables will also still be outside.
