Theatre North West's new producer has departed Prince George following seven months of service.

Troy O'Donnell has returned to Edmonton to resume his acting career, said Ted Price, TNW artistic director.

"Troy's decision was received at the theatre with disappointment, but also with understanding," said Price.

"Once you're already a successful actor like Troy, it's always a part of what you do. It's just a matter of deciding whether you leave it for a short time or a long time."

Theatre goers need not worry about the loss as related to the TNW operations.

Price will simply postpone his upcoming retirement on May 31 for a year, he said. Read the rest of the story in The Citizen.
