A man is dead after a fatal crash on Highway 97 late last week.
Quesnel RCMP say a semi with trailer collided with a pickup truck at approximately 4:24 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.
The driver of the pickup, a 37-year-old man from Quesnel, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the transport was uninjured.
Highway 97 was closed for several hours. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
