Quesnel RCMP were called to a home invasion in the 300 block of Hoy Street at about 2:10 pm on Sunday, Jan. 12.
It was reported that two people broke into a residence and used bear spray on a person before damaging several items in the home.
The male suspect was reported to be carrying a handgun.
A female suspect was arrested outside of a residence in the 400 block of North Fraser Drive after police executed a search warrant. The North District Emergency Response Team (ERT) assisted with the execution of the search warrant to the residence but the second suspect, a man, was not located.
The female suspect has been released pending a court date, while the male suspect is still missing and police are attempting to locate him.
