Prince George RCMP issued a report yesterday (Nov. 4) asking the public’s help to locate a man who has been missing since May, but that same individual is wanted in connection with a double homicide in Pentiction.
Friends of Anthony James Graham last saw him in Prince George around May 25. However, in June 2021, the Pentiction RCMP put out a media release advising the public they are investigating Graham in relation to a double homicide.
Frontline officers attended a remote location up the Naramata Creek Forest Service Road after receiving information about an unresponsive person in need of medical attention. When officers arrived in the area they found two deceased individuals, later identified as Carlos and Erick Fryer.
On June 18, the BC Prosecution Service approved first-degree murder charges against 35-year-old Anthony Graham of Penticton and 32-year-old Wade Cudmore of Naramata. Cudmore has been arrested and remains in police custody, while Graham remains outstanding.
Police say the homicides are believed to be connected to gang and drug activities with alleged criminal activity linked to northern B.C. and the Lower Mainalnd.
On Nov. 4 Prince George RCMP released information regarding the missing persons report made against Graham that police are actively investigating, however, they did not refer to the homicide investigation or that Graham is to be considered armed and dangerous.
"It was an oversight made by this office not duplicating the public warning about Mr. Graham. We are putting processes in place to make sure such an omission does not happen again," states RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
Graham is a Caucasian man, six feet tall, 190 pounds with blue eyes and light brown hair. It’s unknown what clothing he was wearing when he was last seen.He was last spotted in Prince George, but also has connections to the Okanagan.
