During its two-day event at Exhibition Park in Prince George last week, the Canada North Resources Expo donated $5,000 to the Honour House Society.
Located in New Westminster, Honour House provides free accommodation for members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, and emergency services personnel, as well as their families to stay, while they are receiving medical care and treatment in the Metro Vancouver area.
More than 7,600 visitors attended the expo, organizers said. The event will return to Prince George in 2025.
