Rise and shine, Prince George!

Expect a wonderful Spring day ... minus the dusty roads

Spring has officially arrived in Prince George.

Environment Canada says the sun will be sticking around for the foreseeable future, reaching as high as 15 C today (March 21).

We could see some fog on the morning commute before the sun begins to peek out.

By bedtime, the temperature will dip into the negatives once again at -3 C.

Prince George is still under a dust advisory for a third consecutive day as per Northern Health.

This means we're seeing a high concentration of dust particles in the air thanks to road traffic; air quality meteorologists are reporting and average of almost 99 micrograms-per-cubic-metre, which is double of what's suppose to be normal.

Kids, seniors, and those with chronic conditions are advised once again to stay inside in an air-conditioned environment.

More information is available on Environment Canada's website.
