The sun may be out, but it's not getting any warmer.
In fact, the weather is going in the opposite direction and according to Environment Canada, Prince George could be flirting with -50 C.
With winds blowing at 15 km/h and the arctic air still settling in, the temperature will drop to a chilling -49 C in the morning and -34 C in the afternoon, meaning frostbite could happen within minutes.
The daily high is expected to reach -26 C.
The night sky will be clear, but those 15 km/h winds will keep the mercury as low as it can go.
Wind chill temperatures will be -37 C in the evening and -49 C overnight.
