The road from Prince George to Jasper is about to take a little longer to travel.
Starting next Monday (Aug. 21) and continuing through Friday (Aug. 25), road crews will be on Highway 16 today working on maintenance project that affects a 13.6 -kilometre stretch from the Longworth Access Road (35 km east of Purden Lake) to Dome Creek Camp (21 km east of Purden).
Single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect during that time.
Watch for traffic personnel.
