WorkSafeBC has fined North Central Roofing Ltd. $7,500 after two employees were found working on a Prince George duplex without proper fall protection in place and one of them was using a nail gun while not wearing safety glasses.
The fine was imposed in January, according to a posting on the WorkSafeBC website, and was the third fine levied against the company in six months. The two previous fines, of $7,500 and $2,500 were for violations at two Quesnel worksites.
North Central is appealing the most-recent penalty.
