Salmon Valley elementary school's parent advisory council president same away from Wednesday night's public consultation meeting with a hopeful feeling that her school may be spared from closure in the end.
"I think it went really well," said Alexis Trenaman, who estimated about 70 people attended the meeting. "As far as I was concerned, the board of trustees was really good in listening, they said they'd have an open mind."
