School District No. 57 (SD57) has confirmed that Superintendent Anita Richardson is away on leave.
Deputy Superintendent Cindy Heitman has been appointed Acting Superintendent until Richardson returns.
“I look forward to continuing to serve the district as part of the Senior Leadership Team,” says Heitman, in an email to PrinceGeoregMatters.
Richardson has been the district’s Superintendent since Dec. 2019.
The next school board meeting is set for Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. and will be available through a livestream on the district’s website.
