A search for a missing Prince George woman whose SUV and dog were found near Ashcroft has been suspended "until further information or evidence comes to light," Prince George RCMP said Tuesday.
Kamloops Search and Rescue volunteers had been looking for further signs of Jenny Lynn Larocque, 61, in the Venable Valley area south of Aschcroft for more than a week. The dog was found on October 15 and the vehicle on October 16.
"Investigators have no reason to believe that Jenny Larocque has been the victim of foul play," RCMP added.
Larocque is a Prince George resident but was last seen in Williams Lake on September 27.
She is described as Caucasian, 160 cm (5'3") tall and weighing 45 kg (99 lbs) with green eyes and brown hair.
