A large sinkhole closed northbound traffic on Massey Drive at the intersection of Massey and Carney Street on Tuesday.
Police reported the sinkhole to the City of Prince George at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. City crews were excavating the site Wednesday, but no information about the cause of the sinkhole or when it will be fixed was available.
Crews are on scene directing traffic and the northbound lanes will be closed until further notice.
