A minivan carrying a family of five and a pickup truck with a lone occupant were in a collision Wednesday evening, sending everyone involved to the hospital. The family included four children between the ages of five and 12, RCMP report.
It happened on Highway 97 South near Colebank Road.
Injuries ranged from moderate to severe, police say.
Traffic was disrupted in the area for about five hours for the investigation, which is ongoing. Police say criminality is not suspected.
