That’s not good for folks who have large driveways to clear but it’s great news for skiers, snowboarders and tobogganers, especially school-aged kids looking for something fun to do with the two-week spring break about to begin this weekend.
The high for today will be -3 C and if you’re going out tonight dress warmly. The temperature is expected to drop to -8 C with a winds gusting to 40 kilometres per hour.
More flurries are in the forecast for Thursday with a high of -3 C and a low of -12 C.
The sun should return Friday and Saturday with highs ranging from 0C to 3C and lows of -11 C (Friday) and -5 (Saturday).
Sunday’s forecast calls for cloudy skies and a 60 per cent chance of flurries with a low of -8 C.
