Be prepared if you're heading onto Highway 97 north out of Prince George today (Feb. 12).
Environment Canada has reissued a snowfall warning for the Pine Pass and Peace River regions a second time in as many days.
This is due to an expected accumulation of 10 to 20 cm of snow starting this afternoon and into tomorrow morning (Feb. 13).
According to the national agency, a Pacific frontal system is going to hover over northern B.C. and will continue to move east, meaning the snow could potentially taper off by late Thursday morning.
Commuters are being asked once again to stay safe on the roads by adjusting your driving habits to the conditions, which could suddenly change at any given moment.
Visibility may also be reduced significantly if heavier snow is falling at higher elevations.
You can go to Drive B.C.'s website for up-to-date road conditions.
Currently, there are no travel advisories issued for highways leading out of Prince George.
