Spaces filling up fast for this year’s Northern B.C. Home and Garden Show

The 42nd annual event is one month away

Several businesses will be showcasing their services to the Prince George community.

The 42nd Northern B.C. Home and Garden Show is four weeks from today (March 26) and if you’re in the field hoping to nag a spot in the Kin Centres at Exhibition Park, the organizing committee is asking everyone to contact them quickly.

As of Monday (March 25), only 25 of the more than 200 vendor lots are still open.

“I could fill the parking lot, but realistically, I would be happy with about five vendors or displays that are 20 feet by 20 feet,” Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) Executive Assistant Marilyn Greenwood explains to PrinceGeorgeMatters, who adds the theme of the show, ‘there’s no place like home,’ will be imminent once the public steps through the doors.

“These are, just to name a few, everything from roofing to kitchens, and bathroom fixtures to painting and decorating. There is something for everyone; those looking for a garden tractor, insulating your home, a sundeck, metal fencing, alarms systems, outdoor furnaces, hot tubs, cookware; the list goes on.”

The CHBA marquees the Home and Garden Show each year and is also celebrating its 60th campaign in Prince George.

The company also says some of the vendors on display for the 2019 installment include a 20-by-72-foot modular home and an assortment of goodies and coffee from Playgrounds Cafe.

April 26 to 28 is when the Northern B.C. Home and Garden Show will commence in the Kin Centres.

On the Sunday of that weekend (April 28), the first 300 people will receive a free pancake breakfast.

More information is on the CHBA of Northern B.C.’s website.
