Vanderhoof RCMP were notified of a suspicious occurrence at the local post office on Friday, Feb. 28.
The Vanderhoof Canada Post office discovered several suspicious packages containing a powder. The substance has not yet been identified.
RCMP said the post office was evacuated as a precaution.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available.
