Two city councillors will be able to attend two meetings next month via teleconference.
City council agreed to extend the courtesy to Coun. Cameron Stolz for the Feb. 1 regular meeting and to Coun. Garth Frizzell for the Feb. 10 budget meeting.
Stolz will be away on a business trip and Frizzell will be attending a Federation of Canadian Municipalities conference at those times.
Frizzell was able to participate in part of a meeting last year through the same method but only after his request was approved by a 4-3 vote due, in part, to the short notice he gave.
The requests won unanimous support this time around.
