Food Network star Bob Blumer and Farmhouse Catering are hosting a New Year’s Eve tequila tasting event in Prince George.
Five tequilas and one mezcal will be paired with a tasty taco bar experience specially designed by Blumer.
Attendees of the event will be treated to tequilas that include Casa Dragones which was Oprah Winfrey’s favourite tequila of 2017, Kendall Jenner’s 818, Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson’s Teremana, Adam Levine’s Calirosa, Michael Jordan’s Cincoro and Dos Hombres, and a mezcal owned by Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.
Blumer promises a few other fun elements at the tasting stations, which will all be happening in the penthouse of the Prestige hotel.
The event will also feature a silent auction with all proceeds raised being donated to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. Attendees are encouraged to gather garments to donate for a Tree of Warmth that will then be donated to St. Vincent De Paul.
Tickets are $110 each or $1,000 for groups of 10 and are available on Eventbrite. Doors open at 8 p.m. with DJ and dancing to follow the tequila tastings.
