RCMP report that a $5,000 laptop was stolen April 9 or 10 from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Inlander Street.
Despite the item being secured and hidden, thieves managed to gain entry to steal the IBM Thinkpad laptop, said Cst. Jayson Hanson. The computer has distinct markings and and screen saver identifying it as the property of Terasen Gas.
